Job summary

The Learning Support Centre Ltd is seeking a dedicated individual to provide academic support for students with disabilities in Higher and Further Education. You will take electronic notes during lectures and tutorials, ensuring clear, complete and legible material while maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding standards.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English, C grade or above.
• Degree level or equivalent education.
• Experience in a Higher or Further Education setting.
• Experience supporting disabled people or individuals with Specific Learning Differences in education or work.

Responsibilities

• Directly take electronic notes on a laptop during lectures, seminars and tutorials for students with disabilities.
• Produce notes that are clear, complete and legible.
• Manage timesheets and related administration monthly.
• Attend training or meetings as required.
• Represent The Learning Support Centre professionally, upholding confidentiality and safeguarding policies.
• Engage in personal development in agreement with the Manager.
• Undertake additional duties as reasonably required.
