Job summary

Randstad Student & Worker Support is seeking reliable Academic Note Takers to work with students at Canterbury Christ Church University. You will attend lectures, produce precise notes, and support students with disabilities, helping them access course content and participate fully.

You will compile accurate notes, review them for accessibility, and maintain a professional, confidential relationship with learners while aligning with university policies. Flexible hours and CPD are offered.

Qualifications

• Neat handwriting and legible notes required.
• Good typing speed and accuracy.
• Excellent spelling and grammar.
• Punctuality and reliability essential.
• Ability to work quickly under time restrictions.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Experience with specific learning difficulties in higher education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate and legible handwritten notes for lectures, seminars, and group tasks.
• Review notes after lectures to ensure accessibility for students.
• Maintain a professional relationship with students and adhere to institutional policies.
• Act in learners' best interests while following Randstad procedures.
