Job Title: Electronic Engineer

Location: Poole

An established company developing high-tech products is seeking an Electronic Engineer.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree in Electronic Engineering and commercial experience in electronic hardware and/or system design. Experience with Altium Designer is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers to refine new product development goals and specifications.
• Design and develop hardware solutions to meet specifications.
• Create schematic designs and PCB layouts for complex SoC-based systems.
• Optimize designs for performance, manufacturability, and cost.
• Develop test plans to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Participate or lead design reviews.
• Ensure design robustness and reliability through appropriate testing, validation, and documentation techniques.

Key Experience

• Proven experience in electronic hardware and/or system design.
• Experience with embedded single board computers, ideally NXP i.MX family SoCs or similar.
• Knowledge of EMC testing.
• PCB design experience, preferably using Altium.
• Hardware integration skills.

Additional advantageous experience (not required)

• Sensor integration.
