Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of embedded electronic systems in engines or powertrains.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience defining and analyzing requirements for electrical/electronic systems.
• Understanding of product verification and validation, including testing plans and data analysis.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and enhance electromechanical control systems for Caterpillar engines and powertrains.
• Develop and test electronic control system architectures for engine and hybrid power systems.
• Utilise laboratory, automation and Hardware-in-the-Loop tools to verify system and component behaviour.
• Analyze test data and resolve complex engineering challenges.
• Collaborate with global teams across the UK, Europe, China, India and the US.
