Job summary

Mycronic is seeking a reliable Electronic Assembler to join the Macclesfield workshop, focusing on precise hand soldering, circuit board assembly into mechanical housings, and wiring for robotic systems.

You will work with a hands-on team on varied technical tasks, with opportunities to expand skills across workshop areas. The role offers steady hours, a supportive environment, and access to full training on our product range.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronics manufacturing or assembly preferred.
• Experience assembling complex electronic equipment is advantageous.
• Familiar with production documentation and quality inspection processes.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Hand solder small components and circuit boards.
• Solder larger ground areas and manage heat for a clean finish.
• Prepare cables using wire strippers and hand crimp tools.
• Assemble PCBs into mechanical housings and screw them in.
• Assemble cables, wire harnesses, and power box wiring.
• Maintain focus and quality during steady production workflows.
• Follow standard work instructions to ensure consistency.
• Spot faults and soldering flaws during assembly.
• Handle delicate electronic components safely.
• Maintain a stable, high-quality workflow throughout the day.
