Job summary

Future Talent Group is seeking an Electronic Assembler in Swindon to manufacture and test PCBs and wiring harnesses with precision. You will ensure correct assembly of electronic components and contribute to reliable, high-performance electronic solutions for UAV/ defence technologies.

The role requires hands-on assembly experience and the ability to read PCB drawings. A technical qualification in Electronics or related fields is preferred, with IPC certifications desirable.

Qualifications

• PCB and/or harness assembly experience - essential.
• Professional/Higher Technical qualification in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrotechnics or related field (preferred).
• IPC-A-610 and/or IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification or experience (desirable).
• Familiarity with test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters).
• Ability to read and interpret PCB drawings and schematics (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and test PCBs and wiring harnesses with precision and quality.
• Ensure correct assembly of electronic components for reliable, high-performance solutions.
• Contribute to delivering products that meet stringent Defence/ UAV standards.

The Role

We're looking for an Electronic Technician to manufacture and test PCBs and wiring harnesses with precision and quality, ensuring correct assembly of electronic components and contributing to the delivery of reliable, high-performance electronic solutions.

What You'll Bring

• PCB and/or harness assembly experience - essential
• Professional/Higher Technical qualification in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrotechnics or related field (preferred)
• IPC-A-610 and/or IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification or experience (desirable)
• Familiarity with test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters)
• Ability to read and interpret PCB drawings and schematics (preferred)
• Basic knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes (preferred)
