Job summary

SenseAI Vision in the UK is seeking an entrepreneurial and results-driven Applications Engineer to drive adoption and growth of our compressed sensing software in the electron microscopy market and beyond. You will be the primary technical liaison between customers and the product development team, delivering demonstrations, training sessions, and expert support onsite and remotely.

Qualifications

• PhD (or equivalent) in Physics, Materials Science, Engineering, Biology, or related field.
• Electron microscopy experience including TEM, STEM, SEM, and FIB-SEM.
• Python and typical image processing workflows utilised in EM.
• Ability to travel to customer sites, conferences and training events up to ~30%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical liaison between customers and the product development team
• Provide expert-level application support for electron microscopy software, including installation, configuration and troubleshooting
• Conduct product demonstrations, technical trainings, and workshops for customers onsite and remotely
• Collaborate with R&D to translate customer feedback into software improvements and new feature requirements
• Assist in developing technical documentation, user guides and training materials
• Support sales teams with technical expertise during pre-sales consultations and product evaluations
• Analyze customer workflows and recommend optimized solutions leveraging company software
• Test new software releases for functionality, performance and compatibility with microscopy systems
• Participate in conferences, workshops and trade shows to showcase applications to researchers
