Job summary

Randstad Construction & Property is seeking a Multi-Skilled Electromechanical Engineer (Days) in Bicester. The role covers fault diagnosis, repair, servicing, and CI across production machinery and site facilities.

4 on 4 off, days only, 07:00–19:00, with a salary around £57,000 per year. Required qualifications include an 18th Edition IEE or equivalent electrical qualification, and experience as an industrial electrical or electromechanical shift engineer.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to fault diagnose electrical/mechanical faults.
• Experience with PCB diagnostics and drive systems.
• Basic machining using a lathe.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance and reactive repairs on production equipment.
• Diagnose faults and carry out electrical and mechanical tasks across multi-manufacturer machinery.
• Work with variable speed drives and PCB diagnostics; assist OEMs with remote support.
• Lead continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives alongside routine site maintenance.
