Job summary

Hudson Shribman is seeking an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer (Electromechanical) for its South East facility. You will perform electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and repair of AC/DC motors on large industrial machinery while providing mechanical maintenance support.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will participate in PPM and reactive maintenance to maximise plant reliability and OEE.

Qualifications

Completed engineering apprenticeship or equivalent industrial training.
Recognised engineering qualification (City & Guilds, BTEC or similar).
Strong electrical maintenance experience within manufacturing or heavy industry.
Proven experience maintaining AC and DC motors on large industrial machinery.

Responsibilities

Provide first-line electrical maintenance and repair support for production machinery.
Maintain, fault-find and repair AC/DC motors and associated control systems.
Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and respond to breakdowns.
Support mechanical maintenance activities where required (approx. 40%).
Assist with continuous improvement and equipment upgrade projects.
Work with production teams to maximise equipment uptime.
Maintain maintenance records and safety compliance.
Identify potential reliability issues and implement preventive solutions.
