Job summary

Recruit Mint Ltd in Market Deeping is seeking three Test & Assembly Operatives to join a specialist technology manufacturer. You will assemble and test electro-mechanical products to defined quality and technical standards, working from drawings and wiring schematics.

Full training will be provided. GCSEs in English and Maths are expected, with an interest in practical engineering, electronics or electrical work.

Qualifications

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A practical, hands-on approach to work.
• Basic confidence using computers to enter and record information.
• A genuine interest in practical engineering, electronics or electrical work.

Responsibilities

• Assembling and testing electronic and electro-mechanical products.
• Working from technical drawings, build instructions and wiring schematics.
• Soldering connectors onto cables using appropriate soldering equipment.
• Completing work accurately and in accordance with established procedures.
• Recording assembly and test information using internal IT systems.
• Working to agreed production schedules and quality specifications.
• Liaising with the Stores team to ensure materials and components are available.
• Identifying and reporting any build, component or quality issues.
