Job Description:

Contract as a Junior Electro Mechanical Technician for an innovative healthcare provider in Wimborne, Dorset.

You will have previous medical R&D background, preferably one year experience working in an R&D Laboratory environment. You will be testing electromechanical devices that test wound dressings, working alongside product engineers to enable effective wound dressing technology.

Activities:

• Supporting NTIs by testing materials and concepts, developing or following appropriate test methods in collaboration with Project Engineers, and analyzing, interpreting, and communicating results in summary test reports.
• Supporting NPIs by bench testing prototype products, developing or following appropriate test methods in collaboration with global NPI teams, and analyzing, interpreting, and communicating results in bench test reports.
• Writing protocols, work instructions, and procedures.
• Communicating effectively with other departments regarding test results.
• Learning department processes, procedures, and equipment, and applying this learning consistently.
