Job summary

Orion Electrotech is seeking a Test & Integration Engineer to support the design, integration and reliability of a complex electro‑mechanical product range. This hands-on role offers scope to develop skills and grow the position long term.

You will shape current and future products, improve system designs, troubleshoot issues, and support new product introductions from concept to production, across electronics, mechanics and systems performance.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting electronics at component and system level.
• Ability to read electronic schematics and analyse performance data.
• Experience designing, testing, and assembling complete product systems.
• Comfortable working in manufacturing and engineering environments.
• Ideally, you will be HND/HNC or degree in electronics, electrical, mechatronic or related discipline.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a comparable engineering role.

Responsibilities

• Test, integrate and improve electro-mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues on existing products down to component level.
• Support new product development and product launches.
• Manage engineering changes and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Develop automated test systems to monitor and verify product performance.
• Produce clear technical documentation including specifications and test reports.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to improve quality, efficiency and delivery.
• Support customer-facing teams with technical expertise and problem resolution.
• Review competitor products and contribute ideas for new features and roadmaps.
