Job summary

GE Vernova in Stafford is seeking a Manufacturing Team Member - Production Assembly to join our electronics manufacturing team. The role involves assembling, inspecting, testing, and repairing electro-mechanical products in line with production plans and customer requirements.

You will perform sub-assembly testing, record results, and help resolve quality issues within a collaborative manufacturing environment. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum ONC qualification in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience with PCB manufacturing and assembly is desirable.
• Experience with electronic test equipment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test electronic sub-assemblies according to procedures and standards.
• Record pass/fail results accurately in databases and production systems.
• Operate Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) and perform manual interventions as required.
• Perform basic fault-finding on failed sub-assemblies and document findings.
• Repair or replace faulty components and escalate to Quality as needed.
• Use soldering/desoldering equipment and electronic meters safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing team, leads, engineers and Quality personnel to resolve issues.
