Job description

V7 are looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter on behalf of our close client, operating in the Water Industry. It's the opportunity to work for a leading player within the engineering utilities sector. You will be responsible for mechanical services across the region.

The role is full time, permanent and on offer is a salary of circa 40,000 (OTE - 45,000- 50,000) plus vehicle and company benefits.

Key duties:
  • Carrying out Mechanical installation and maintenance across Water treatment sites
  • Ensure the required PPE is always worn onsite and, in the workshop
  • Receive onsite work tasks from the Project Managers, and read, sign and work to the risk assessment and method statement and safe working procedures
  • Adhere to individual qualifications and in date approved/certified training bodies, to perform the work as required
  • When onsite, adhere to client working practices, site rules, health, and safety paperwork etc
  • Receive workshop tasks from the Project Managers, and perform them to the safe working procedures
  • Perform any other ad hoc tasks, as requested by the Project Managers.
