Job summary

Premier Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Draughtsperson in Leicester/Enderby to design electro-mechanical equipment for industrial applications. You will work with the design team on 2D/3D CAD, BOMs, and manufacturing drawings, supporting R&D and production while meeting deadlines and budgets.

The role requires at least an HNC (engineering) with relevant apprenticeship experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified to at least HNC in an engineering discipline.
• Apprenticeship in a relevant engineering field is preferred.
• Experience in a draughting environment with electrical applications.

Responsibilities

• Produce 2D/3D drawings and BOMs for manufacture.
• Review design requirements with engineering team and specify materials.
• Support R&D activities including test setup and equipment.
• Assist Production in resolving manufacturing issues.
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
• Adhere to health, safety, quality and environmental policies.
