Job summary

ReeVR Talent are looking for an Assembly Technician to join our client's growing manufacturing business based in the Abingdon area. The Assembly Technician will have practical assembly experience and be comfortable working from technical drawings and following detailed manufacturing and safety procedures.

This is a full-time, permanent on-site role requiring accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to work within a small, collaborative manufacturing team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on assembly experience in manufacturing.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings.
• Experience with soldering/crimping; familiarity with PPE and cleanroom norms.

Responsibilities

• Carry out hands on assembly of electrical and mechanical components.
• Read and interpret Engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Complete soldering and crimping of electrical components and connections.
• Work within a cleanroom manufacturing environment, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and quality and to wear appropriate PPE.
• Follow standard operating procedures, manufacturing instructions and safety procedures.
• Inspect completed assemblies to ensure they meet required quality standards.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail throughout the assembly process.
• Work as part of a small, collaborative manufacturing team.
