Job summary

CBSbutler is recruiting for an Assembly and Test Technician in Romsey. The role focuses on the assembly, testing and commissioning of specialist electronic products within a defence engineering environment, on a 6-month contract. The position is onsite with a daily rate of £215.

Responsibilities include electromechanical assembly, RF testing, using varied test equipment, fault finding and ensuring thorough documentation and final acceptance testing of systems.

Qualifications

• Hands-on electromechanical assembly experience.
• Experience using a range of automated and manual test equipment.
• Basic understanding of electronic principles.
• Fault-finding and troubleshooting experience.
• RF testing experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Electromechanical assembly of electronic products.
• RF testing of PCBAs and system sub-assemblies.
• Using automated and manual test equipment.
• Fault finding and repairing non-conforming products.
• Commissioning and final acceptance testing of systems.
• Recording test results and maintaining technical documentation.
