Job summary

SWARCO UK & Ireland is seeking a Controller Production Assembler in Melsonby. You will join the manufacturing team to assemble, wire and test a range of specialist SWARCO products, including traffic signal controllers and roadside cabinets.

The role requires an electrical or mechanical background, accuracy and a hands-on approach. You will work from drawings and BOMs, ensuring high-quality finished products for customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, mechanical, electro-mechanical or manufacturing environment.
• Reading and understanding technical drawings, specifications, BOMs or similar documentation.
• Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• Experience using hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire traffic signal controller and roadside controller cabinets.
• Prepare cables, connectors and wiring looms.
• Carry out cabinet wiring and fit electrical components such as transformers.
• Assemble mechanical components, enclosures, prisms and trailers.
• Read and follow technical drawings, specifications, BOMs and kit lists.
