Job summary

Mane Energy in Greater London (UK) seeks an electro-mechanical assembler to build and install fans, motors and heaters using engineering drawings and CMMs. You will use torque drivers, micrometers, and verniers, assemble components to specification, perform tests, and document results on the shop floor.

Role requires adherence to quality procedures, PPE usage, and accurate completion of production records. BPSS clearance, five years of employment history, and CRB/address verification are

Qualifications

• Eligible for BPSS clearance.
• Minimum of 5 years' employment history.
• CRB check and address verification required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electro-mechanical assembly work in accordance with engineering drawings and/ or CMMs.
• Carry out assembly and installation of fans, motors and/or heaters per drawings/CMMs.
• Use basic hand tools and precision measuring equipment (torque drivers, micrometers, verniers).
• Assemble parts to meet quality standards and function as required, including drilling, tapping, reaming, countersinking, filing, lapping, buffing and lubrication.
• Connect cables and wires as specified and document results.
• Conduct testing and inspections to identify and resolve issues.
• Follow manufacturing procedures, processes and quality requirements.
• Complete production, quality and manufacturing documentation accurately and timely.
• Provide information to customers, suppliers and visitors; communicate professionally at all levels.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement and 5S activities to improve quality, efficiency and output.
• Wear PPE as provided and follow company requirements.
• Carry out duties to support manufacturing targets.
