Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment Agency is seeking an Electro/Mechanical Assembler in Blandford for an exciting production role, offering up to £29,000 per year. You will hand solder, test and assemble subassemblies within a production cell, ensuring quality and stock accuracy.

We’re looking for someone with good manual dexterity and a detail-oriented mindset, capable of following drawings and procedures. The role offers secure employment and scope to grow in a busy workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working in electronics or manufacturing is useful but not essential
• Previous hand soldering experience is beneficial
• Comfortable working to detailed drawings and procedures
• Good manual dexterity and a genuine eye for detail
• A reliable, hands-on approach with a willingness to get stuck in and learn

Responsibilities

• Hand solder, test and assemble subassemblies within a production cell
• Issue and complete work orders while keeping stock accuracy on point
• Work to assembly drawings and procedures to a consistently high standard
• Set up and operate production machinery safely
• Carry out mechanical and electrical testing on subassemblies and finished products
• Support continual process improvement and cross-training across the workshop
