We are open to candidates with a background in electrical work who aspire to develop a career in testing & inspection as an engineering surveyor. Prior experience in testing & inspection is beneficial but not mandatory; we heavily invest in your training. The ideal candidate will have fully qualified electrical credentials (apprenticeship, Level 3, etc.), and certifications like 2391 & 18th Edition are desirable. An HNC or higher qualification is also advantageous.
We're looking for the right personality—someone eager to learn, progress, and gain additional qualifications such as ATEX & COMPEX, with the potential to achieve Chartered status through our partnership with the IET.
Once trained, you'll test and inspect electrical equipment in various operational environments, ensuring everything functions correctly.
Work sectors include manufacturing, quarries, power plants, marine, agriculture, and airports—covering industrial, commercial, and heavy industrial sites. As you gain further training, you'll handle more complex sites, with corresponding salary increases and ongoing development opportunities.
