Job summary

Connolly Ltd is seeking an Electrician to perform EICR testing and remedial works in occupied domestic properties under social housing programmes.

You will carry out EICR testing, identify defects, and complete required remedial work while maintaining safety and high service standards for tenants and clients.

Qualifications

• Experience performing EICR testing in domestic properties and delivering remedial works.
• Ability to identify defects and provide compliant certification documentation.
• Good IT/ reporting skills and accuracy in test reporting.

Responsibilities

Looking for consistent, pre-booked EICR work?

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured contracts, Connolly is looking for qualified Electrical Sub-Contractors to support our Social Housing programmes.

Working within occupied domestic properties, you'll carry out EICR testing, electrical repairs and remedial works on behalf of local authorities and housing associations.

With pre-booked appointments averaging four tests per day, this role offers excellent earning potential and a consistent workload.

The Role

As an Electrician, you'll be responsible for carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs), identifying defects and completing associated remedial works to ensure properties remain safe and compliant.

Working independently or as part of a wider team, you'll deliver a high-quality service while maintaining excellent customer relationships with tenants and clients.

What You'll Be Doing

• Carrying out EICR testing within domestic properties

What We're Looking For

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• C&G 2330, 2360, 2357 or 2365 (or equivalent)
• City & Guilds 2391, 2394 and/or 2395
• Previous experience carrying out EICR testing and remedial works
• Strong understanding of current wiring regulations
• Good IT and reporting skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Asbestos Awareness desirable but not essential
• Experience working within occupied properties or Social Housing is desirable
