Job summary

Build Recruitment is seeking Electrical Testers / EICR Electricians for an ongoing social housing programme in the Birmingham area. You will test domestic properties, produce detailed EICR reports, and handle a steady workload with immediate starts available.

Ideal candidates hold NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation, 2391/2394/2395, 18th Edition, DBS Basic, asbestos awareness, and a full UK driving licence. Own van, tester, and tools are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation and 2391/2394/2395 or equivalent testing & inspection qualifications.
• 18th Edition wiring regulations certification required.
• Basic DBS disclosure is required.
• Awareness of asbestos is necessary.
• Ability to work at height is required.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Candidates must own a van, a calibrated tester and their own tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out EICR testing across occupied domestic properties in social housing.
• Write detailed, site-specific EICR reports for each property.
• Manage workload and property allocation independently to maintain productivity.

Are you an experienced Electrical Tester looking for consistent, long-term work with strong earning potential?

We are recruiting multiple EICR Electricians to join an ongoing social housing programme carrying out domestic EICR testing across occupied properties.

Please note: the company will endeavor to book continual properties for testing, however this is subject to tenant availability.
