Job summary

GSM Electrical of Dalgety Bay is recruiting an Electrician to cover the Central Belt of Scotland, including Fife, Edinburgh and the Lothians. You will work on domestic, commercial and industrial installations with certification, fault-finding and reporting.

The role includes solar PV, battery storage and EV charger installations, with a mix of site work and paperwork. 40 hours weekly, with a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• At least one year's experience as a qualified electrician.
• A recognised electrician qualification such as SVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• A valid driving licence.
• Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining and repairing domestic, commercial and industrial electrical systems.
• Carrying out electrical inspection and testing.
• Completing electrical certification, including certification for rental properties.
• Diagnosing electrical faults and reporting findings.
• Installing solar PV and battery storage systems.
• Installing electric vehicle charging points.
• Completing job sheets and other required documentation accurately.
