Job summary

North East Heating Solutions is looking for an Electrician’s Mate / Electrical Improver to join our installation team. This role supports the safe and efficient installation of domestic electric heating and hot water systems, with travel to customer sites across a wide geographic area from Nottingham through to Northumberland.

Based in Wetherby with daily commuting from the head office, you will gain qualifications and develop your career within an established business.

Qualifications

• Previous electrical experience, ideally within domestic properties.
• A genuine interest in developing a career within the electrical industry.
• Good practical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Good communication skills and a professional approach when working in customers' homes.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Able to commute to our Wetherby head office daily.

Responsibilities

• Working alongside the Installation Manager and wider installation team to complete work to a high standard
• Assisting with the installation of electrical components in line with relevant regulations and building standards
• Supporting the installation of domestic electric heating and hot water systems
• Helping the team manage daily installation schedules and work efficiently on site
• Communicating professionally with customers and understanding their requirements
• Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and with excellent attention to detail

Electrician’s Mate / Electrical Improver

Location: Wetherby, with travel to customer sites – Full UK licence

Salary: Up to £32,000 depending on experience + bonus

Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, no weekend working

Please note: Daily travel to and from our Wetherby head office is required.You must live within a reasonable commuting distance, ideally around 30 minutes.

North East Heating Solutions is looking for an Electrician’s Mate / Electrical Improver to join our installation team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in domestic electrical work who is looking to develop their skills, gain further qualifications and build their career within an established business.

Working alongside our experienced installation team, you will assist with the safe and efficient installation of domestic electric radiators and hot water systems.

Our work covers a wide geographical area, from Nottingham through to Northumberland.You will meet the team at our Wetherby head office and travel to customer sites with colleagues.
