Job summary

Old Court Electrical is seeking an Electrician Improver or Fully Qualified Electrician to join our longstanding team in Peterborough and surrounding areas. The role covers domestic and commercial electrical work with a typical 40-hour week (Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5:00pm). Applicants living in or around Peterborough, Stamford, The Deepings, Bourne or Spalding area are preferred.

Salary is up to £19.25 per hour. DBS checks may be required for site access; company benefits include a van, fuel card,

Qualifications

• Recent experience in domestic electrical work.
• 18th edition qualification.
• Ability to fault-find and diagnose electrical faults.
• Experience working in furnished homes.
• First aid and asbestos awareness qualifications are a plus but not essential.
• An inspection and testing qualification would be an advantage but not essential.

Electrician Domestic and Commercial

Location: Peterborough and surrounding areas

Salary: up to £19.25 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week (8.30am - 5.00pm) Monday - Friday.

Working hours may vary depending on client demand, and additional hours may occasionally be required to meet business needs.

Old Court Electrical is a long-established, independent local electrical company working across the domestic, commercial and industrial sectors.

We undertake a wide range of projects, including inspection and testing work, remedial work, fault-finding work, extension wiring, alterations, renovations, conversions and new-build properties.

We have a unique opportunity whereby we are currently looking for an Electrician Improver or Fully Qualified Electrician to join our longstanding team.

Applicants must live in or around the Peterborough, Stamford, The Deepings, Bourne or Spalding area. Due to the location of our work, applications from candidates living significantly further afield will not be considered.

Do you have?

• Recent experience in Domestic Electrical work


• Relevant 18th edition qualification


• Sufficient knowledge, practical skills and experience to carry out fault-finding tasks


• Experience working within furnished homes


• First aid and asbestos awareness qualifications would be an advantage but not essential


• A relevant inspection and testing qualification would also be an advantage but not essential
