Job summary

Moxie People are recruiting an Electrician for a planned works team covering Salisbury, Bournemouth Poole and Southampton. This permanent role focuses on quality installations rather than reactive repairs, with a 37-hour week and a company van.

You'll work on kitchen and bathroom refurbishments, with a well-established social housing provider, offering a stable patch across the Southampton area and opportunities for ongoing training.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Testing & Inspection qualification.
• AM2 or AM2E.
• Experience working within domestic properties.
• Planned works or social housing experience advantageous.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver kitchen and bathroom refurbishments as part of a planned works team.
• Perform full and partial electrical rewires and consumer unit upgrades.
• Install electrical systems within kitchen and bathroom refurbishments.
• Install and replace extractor fans.
• Conduct testing and inspection activities.
• Fault find where required and complete work orders via PDA/smartphone.

What you'll be doing

You'll be working as part of a planned works team delivering kitchen and bathroom refurbishments.

The work includes:

• Full and partial electrical rewires
• Consumer unit upgrades
• Electrical installations within kitchen and bathroom refurbishments
• Extractor fan installations and replacements
• Testing and inspection
• Fault finding where required
• Completing work orders via PDA/smartphone

The work is scheduled and planned in advance, giving you time to do the job properly and provide a great service for residents.
