Job summary

Cardo Group in the Cardiff area is recruiting Electricians to join our responsive team on social housing contracts. The role is mobile, covering Cardiff, Bristol and surrounding areas, with daily communication to customers, administration staff and technical managers by phone, email and PDA.

We seek a multi-skilled electrician with 18th Edition, NVQ Level 3, a driving license and at least 3 years in the trade. Benefits include a company vehicle, mobile phone, uniform and 31 days holiday.

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled electrician with proven ability to work on own initiative.
• 18th Edition qualifications and a current driving licence.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent recognised electrical qualification.

Job description

We are looking forElectriciansto work on various social housing contracts within our responsive team in an around Cardiff.The successful individuals will need to have experience working on own initiative, competent whilst working as a mobile operative, arranging and communicating daily with customers, administration staff and technical managers by means of telephone, email, and PDA applications.

Main duties involve:

• Installation and commissioning of various electrical services
• Diagnosing and rectifying faults
• Complying with Health & Safety responsibilities
• Working on Kitchen, Bathrooms & high-rise blocks for local Council & Housing Association

Qualifications & Experience:

• Multi-skilled electrician
• Excellent working knowledge of electrical standards and regulations
• Self-motivated with good organisational skills
• 18th Edition
• Committed to providing Quality Workmanship
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team
• Full driving license
• A minimum of 3 years industry experience
• NVQ Level 3
• Test/Inspection qualification (C&G, EAL) preferred
