Job summary

Bromford is hiring a permanent Electrician to deliver planned maintenance, repairs and installations across domestic and commercial properties. The role focuses on quality work, a stable workload, and a genuine work-life balance, with a company van and tools provided, plus out-of-hours pay.

You’ll ensure safety and compliance across systems, manage materials, and maintain high standards of service for Bromford customers and their homes.

Qualifications

• Experience with 18th Edition wiring regs or equivalent time served.
• City & Guilds Electrical Test and Inspection Certification required.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification.
• AM2 qualification preferred but not essential.
• Familiar with relevant legislation and best practices.
• IT skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Full, clean driving licence required.
• Willing to travel and flexible work attitude.
• Basic DBS check arranged by Bromford.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, repairs and installs across domestic and commercial properties.
• Maintain and fault-find electrical and mechanical systems including boiler controls and HVAC.
• Complete rewiring, testing and inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Diagnose issues and deliver high-quality, efficient repairs.
• Manage materials, record work accurately, and work safely per regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure homes are safe and fit for purpose.
