Job summary

Attega Group Ltd. seeks a skilled PPM Electrician to join its in-house recruitment partner in delivering maintenance across commercial and industrial sites in the UK.

Carry out planned maintenance,inspection, testing and certification to BS 7671, diagnose faults, and work with site teams to ensure safety and quality. Gold Card/level 3 electrical qualification and full UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Gold Card and progressing towards it within a few months.
• City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent required.
• 18th Edition BS 7671 wiring regulations knowledge.
• C&G 2391 (or equivalent) Inspection & Testing experience.
• Full UK driving licence and clean record.
• Experience in commercial/industrial electrical maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Complete inspection, testing and certification to BS 7671 standards.
• Produce EICs, EICRs and Minor Works Certificates.
• Diagnose and repair faults across power distribution, lighting, control panels and plant equipment.
• Respond to reactive maintenance tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with site managers and engineers to ensure safe, high-quality maintenance.

On-call rota: approx. 3-4 weeks per year

What You'll Be Doing

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and equipment
• Completing inspection, testing, and certification works to BS 7671 standards
• Producing EICs, EICRs, and Minor Works Certificates
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults across power distribution systems, lighting, control panels, and plant equipment
• Responding to reactive maintenance tasks when required
• Working closely with site managers, engineers, and other trades to deliver safe and high-quality maintenance services

What We’re Looking For

• Gold Card (working towards and achievable within few months will also be considered)
• City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition wiring regulations (BS 7671)
• C&G 2391 (or equivalent) - Inspection & Testing
• Full UK driving licence
• Experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical maintenance
• Confident in testing, fault-finding, and certification
• Strong understanding of three-phase systems and electrical containment
