We are looking for an experienced and qualified Electrician to join our team working on a power station project. This role requires a strong understanding of high-voltage environments and strict safety standards. Applicants must have SPEN authorisation and meet all certification requirements listed below.
Electricians Key Responsibilities:
Electrical installation, maintenance, and testing on live and dead systems
Work in line with SPEN (Scottish Power Energy Networks) safety procedures
Fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs in a high-risk environment
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
Complying with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times
Working closely with supervisors, engineers, and project managers
Electricians Essential Requirements:
SPEN Authorisation (LV or HV as required)
Gold ECS Card
IPAF Certification
CompEx or Competent Person status for working in high-risk electrical environments
Previous experience on power station or substation projects
Strong working knowledge of electrical safety standards
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices
