Job summary

Hydro International, a CRH Company, is seeking an experienced Electrician to join the Portland, Dorset team. This hands-on role involves installing, testing and commissioning water filtration systems at sewage sites, with UK travel and overnight stays.

The ideal candidate will have NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations, JIB Gold Card and City & Guilds 2391, with a valid UK driving licence. Excellent progression opportunities and a competitive salary package are offered.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, set up and test water filtration systems on sewage treatment sites.

• Interpret technical instructions using mobile electronic equipment.
• Work at heights, in confined spaces and in all weather conditions.
• Travel across the UK with regular overnight stays.
• Occasionally support engineering workshops across the UK.
• Work collaboratively with other engineers and trades within the business.

This role sits within our UK Wastewater Services (UKWWS) team, supporting water utility companies across the UK.

About the Job

We are looking for an experienced, qualified Electrician to join our team based in Portland, Dorset. This is a hands‑on, varied field role with real scope for progression.

You will:

• Install, commission, set up and test water filtration systems on sewage treatment sites
