Job summary

Hydro International, a CRH Company, is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our Dumfries branch. You will install, commission and test water filtration systems on wastewater sites, carrying out inspections and fault finding as part of a field team.

The role requires a current driving license, 18th edition, NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installations and JIB Gold Card; be prepared to work at heights and away from home, with occasional workshop assignments across the country.

Qualifications

• Current valid driving license required.
• 18th Edition wiring regulations experience.
• JIB Gold Card preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Installing, commissioning, setting up and testing water filtration systems on sewage sites.
• Carrying out site inspections and fault finding and compiling survey reports for quotation purposes.
• Accessing and interpreting technical instructions using mobile electronic equipment.
• Working at heights, in confined spaces and on sites connected with wastewater.
• Willingness to work away from home with overnight stays.
• May work in workshops across the country as needed.
• Team player with other staff and trades within the business.

About the Job

We are looking for an experienced/qualified Electrician to join us at our Dumfries branch.

• You will be Installing, commissioning, setting up and testing water filtration systems on sewage sites
• You will carry out site inspections and fault finding and compile survey reports for quotation purposes
• You will be required to access and interpret technical instructions using mobile electronic equipment
• You will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces and outside on sites connected with Wastewater (sewage)
• You will be required to work away from home on a regular basis, requiring overnight stays.
• You may also be required to work in some of our workshops across the country on occasion
• You will be working as a team with other staff and trades within the business
