Job summary

Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced electrician to join our on-site engineering team in Milton Keynes. The role focuses on electrical maintenance, repairs, and installation across hospital plant and services, including AHUs, pumps, motors and electrical control systems.

Previous NHS experience is beneficial but not essential, with full training provided. The position is permanent, full-time (37.5 hours), with a 1 in 6 on-call requirement and potential

Qualifications

Experienced electrician for on-site engineering team.
Background in commercial electrical support.
Familiar with plant such as AHUs, chillers, electrical control systems, pumps and motors.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical maintenance, repair, and installation work, including non-routine tasks.
Fire Alarm Weekly Testing and Emergency Lighting Testing/Repairs.
Generator testing and Boiler Plant checks; Nurse Call systems work.
Air Handling Units electrical fault finding and related duties.
