Job summary

Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Electrician (Electrical Craftsperson) based in Lowestoft. The role is full-time (37.5 hours weekly) within a multi-disciplinary maintenance team, providing a comprehensive service across Norfolk & Suffolk sites and ensuring a safe environment for service users, staff and visitors.

The post includes a Recruitment & Retention Premia (RRP) of £3,276.96 gross per annum pro rata in addition to the base salary.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience of standard and specialist electrical services.
• Understanding and knowledge of the inter-relationship between the building trades and electrical & mechanical services.
• Understanding of Health & Safety Regulations within the Workplace.
• The Electrical Safety Code for Low Voltage Systems - HTM 2020.
• Two years relevant experience in electrical work.
• Experience in a mental health & secure services environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive service including planned, routine and reactive maintenance.
• Repair and maintain a wide range of electrical services and equipment on site.
• Fault finding and diagnosis.
• Routine inspections to ensure estate safety and compliance.
• Ensure work adheres to Health & Safety and related legislation.
• On-Call team duties including out-of-hours rotations.
