Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our Electrical team in Norwich, Norfolk. You will perform installation, maintenance and remedial electrical works across Saffron Housing Trust properties, in both occupied and unoccupied homes, ensuring safety and high quality workmanship.

Applicants must have UK electrical qualifications, an ECS Gold Card, 18th Edition BS7671:2018 and a full driving licence. DBS check will be required, and there is an out‑of‑hours call‑out rota.

Qualifications

• Hold UK electrical qualifications and ECS Gold Card.
• 18th Edition BS7671:2018 certification required.
• Experience with domestic electrical work.
• Full valid UK driving licence required.
• Able to participate in out‑of‑hours call‑out rota.
• Role is subject to DBS check.

Responsibilities

Location: Long Stratton, Norwich, Norfolk

Salary: £40,509.90

We are looking for an experienced Electrician to join our Electrical team, carrying out installation, maintenance, improvement and remedial works across Saffron Housing Trust properties.

You will work in both occupied and unoccupied homes, using your technical knowledge and excellent customer service skills to complete work safely, efficiently and to a high standard. The role also includes responsibility for van stock, tools, materials and completing jobs via a mobile device.

Applicants will need relevant UK electrical qualifications, evidence of an ECS Gold Card, 18th Edition BS7671:2018, experience of domestic electrical work, a full valid driving licence and the ability to take part in an out of hours call‑out rota. This role is subject to a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service check.
