Job summary

The Electrical role is based at Fieldhead Hospital in Wakefield but covers other health centres within the trust footprint. You will maintain electrical equipment, perform repairs and PPM, and work as part of a small team supporting other trades.

The post requires on-call duty, ordering stock, and working to 18th edition, with a salary band of £32,073 to £39,043 per year under Agenda for Change.

Qualifications

• APPRNT: recognised apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
• Electrical testing: PAT and inspection/testing competencies.
• Experience with HTMs/HBNs and 18th edition requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, service and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Carry out electrical works to IEE 18th Edition and related standards.
• Respond to reactive and planned maintenance, assess safety and compliance.
• Supervise others as required and manage workload with budgets.
