Job summary

Isle of Man Public Service Careers seeks an Electrician to maintain essential public buildings across the Island. You will diagnose faults, install to IEE Regulations, and support fire alarms, access control and building management systems.

You will join an on-call rota, respond to emergencies, and access training opportunities with a competitive salary that grows with tenure and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrician with practical installation and fault-finding experience.
• Experience installing to IEE Regulations (BS 7671) and electrical safety standards.
• Experience with building systems such as fire alarms, access control and intruder alarms.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults across public buildings.
• Carry out electrical installations to IEE Regulations.
• Support fault diagnostic and maintenance of fire alarms, access control, intruder alarms and BMS.
• Complete safety documentation and records.
• Be part of an on-call rota and respond to out-of-hours needs.
