Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a skilled electrician specialised in fixed wire testing (EICRs) to join our field team. You will carry out testing, remedial works, ensure compliance with regulations, produce certification and reports, and collaborate with colleagues to complete tasks safely and on time.

A full UK driving licence, strong IT literacy and good communication are essential; IPAF/PASMA desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in fixed wire testing (EICRs) and electrical remedial works.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety and industry best practice.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence and IT literacy.
• Competent in completing electronic certification.
• IPAF (Desirable)
• PASMA (Desirable)

Responsibilities

• Carry out Fixed Wire Testing / EICRs and remedial works including distribution board replacements, partial rewires, accessory replacements, and general upgrades.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with current regulations and company standards.
• Complete and submit accurate electrical certification and job reports.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults safely and efficiently.
• Work collaboratively with the Fixed Wire Testing Team to ensure timely completion of remedial tasks.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and customer service.
