Job summary

Intersafe, part of Complii, is seeking a Fixed Wire Testing Engineer to join their growing team. You will perform fixed wire testing, complete EICRs and reports, and travel to various sites across commercial and industrial environments.

The role includes mentoring junior engineers, submitting reports promptly, and maintaining accurate records. A UK driving licence and flexibility to work in different locations are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' fixed wire testing experience in commercial or industrial environments.
• Qualified to C&G 2391, 2394/2395, 2360/2330 and C&G 2382 (18th Edition).
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel to various sites.
• Ability to work independently with a flexible approach and strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform fixed wire testing in commercial and industrial settings, completing EICRs, observations, thermal imaging reports, and emergency light testing
• Submit all reports and job sheets promptly within the required timeframes
• Work on-site 40 hours per week, with flexibility for weekends, evenings, and overnight stays; lead and mentor trainee and junior engineers
• Liaise with site contacts to ensure works are completed to specification, on time, and within budget; maintain records
