Job summary

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) is recruiting JIB Electricians for a long-term contract in Birmingham. The role starts Monday 28th September. Pay rate is £26.50 per hour, 8 hours a day, Monday to Friday.

A valid JIB Gold Card, 18th Edition, and 2391/2394/95 Test & Inspection certification are essential, with asbestos awareness desirable. Work on commercial and domestic properties performing electrical inspection, testing, and documentation. No travel or lodge is available.

Qualifications

• Mandatory JIB Gold Card, 18th Edition, and 2391/2394/95 Test & Inspection certification are essential.
• Asbestos awareness certification is desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical inspection and testing on commercial and domestic properties.
• Perform visual inspections of electrical installations and identify damaged items.
• Conduct dead and live electrical testing and continuity checks.
• Carry out insulation resistance testing and RCD trip-time testing.
• Identify and classify electrical defects and complete certification documents.
• Ensure full electrical certification is issued and submitted before starting the role.

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are recruiting: We are looking for JIB Electricians for a long term contract with our client in Birmingham.

This is to start on Monday 28th September.

Rate of pay is £26.50 per hour (all hours Monday to Friday), working 8 hours a day.

Must have an in date JIB Gold card, 18th Edition, 2391 or 2394/95 Test and Inspection certification (Essential) and Asbestos awareness certification (desirable)

This will be working on commercial and domestic properties.

The successful Electricians will be carrying out electrical inspection and testing, including:

• Visual inspections of electrical installations
• Checking for damaged or broken sockets, burn marks, wear and tear and outdated fuse boxes
• Carrying out dead and live electrical testing
• Continuity testing
• Insulation resistance testing
• RCD trip-time testing
• Identifying and classifying electrical defects
• Completing electrical certification and inspection documentation
• Full electrical certification must be sent across before starting this position.
