Job summary

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) is recruiting JIB Electricians for a long-term contract in Birmingham. The role starts Monday 28th September. Pay rate is £26.50 per hour, 8 hours a day, Monday to Friday.

A valid JIB Gold Card, 18th Edition, and 2391/2394/95 Test & Inspection certification are essential, with asbestos awareness desirable. Work on commercial and domestic properties performing electrical inspection, testing, and documentation. No travel or lodge is available.

Qualifications

Mandatory JIB Gold Card, 18th Edition, and 2391/2394/95 Test & Inspection certification are essential.
Asbestos awareness certification is desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

Carry out electrical inspection and testing on commercial and domestic properties.
Perform visual inspections of electrical installations and identify damaged items.
Conduct dead and live electrical testing and continuity checks.
Carry out insulation resistance testing and RCD trip-time testing.
Identify and classify electrical defects and complete certification documents.
Ensure full electrical certification is issued and submitted before starting the role.
