Job summary

Regional Recruitment is seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician for on-site work on commercial projects in and around Leicester. Temporary to permanent, full-time, with an immediate start.

DOE salary and a competitive hourly rate are offered, plus weekly wages and a supportive management team. Responsibilities include installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, reading drawings, and maintaining site safety.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation is required.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations compliance is required.
• ECS/JIB Gold Card is required.
• Previous commercial electrical experience is essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install containment including tray, basket and conduit.
• Carry out first and second fix electrical installations.
• Install lighting, power and emergency lighting systems.
• Test and inspect electrical installations as required.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Ensure work complies with current regulations and site standards.
• Maintain a safe working environment at all times.
• Work effectively as part of a site team to meet deadlines.
