Job summary

Regional Recruitment Ltd is looking for an experienced Commercial Electrician to join a well-established electrical contractor on commercial projects across Leicester and surrounding areas. The role offers an immediate start with ongoing work and potential long-term opportunities.

You will perform containment installation, first/second fix tasks, lighting and power installations, and testing in line with regulations. A valid NVQ3, 18th Edition, and ECS/JIB Gold Card are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation is essential.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations required.
• ECS/JIB Gold Card and relevant commercial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install containment including tray, basket and conduit.
• Carry out first and second fix electrical installations.
• Install lighting, power and emergency lighting systems.
• Test and inspect electrical installations when required.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Ensure work complies with current regulations and site standards.
• Maintain a safe working environment at all times.
• Work effectively as part of a site team to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

Essential:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• ECS/JIB Gold Card
• Previous commercial electrical experience
• Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)

• 2391 Testing & Inspection
• IPAF Certification
• PASMA Certification
