Job summary

Sanctuary Group in the South West is seeking an Electrician to join our day-to-day team, performing responsive electrical repairs and EICRs in tenanted and void properties. The role involves lone and team work, on-call duties, and a company van with power tools provided.

The ideal candidate holds an 18th edition qualification (3rd/4th amendments), NVQ Level 3 in core electrics, City & Guilds 2391-52, and AM2, with strong safety and communication skills and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Ensure full compliance with Building Safety legislation; 18th Edition - 3rd and 4th amendments.
• Health and Safety legislation knowledge.
• Analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Full UK driving licence required for company vehicle use.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining electrical installations in tenanted/void properties, from simple fixes to rewires and CCU upgrades.
• Inspecting and testing occupied/void properties for safety and compliance.
• Completing all paperwork and certification related to works.
• Monitoring van stock to achieve first-time fix and keep tools in good condition.
