Fortem is recruiting an Electrician to join our social housing maintenance team on the Stonewater Housing contract. This role covers Yeovil, Taunton, Bridgwater and surrounding areas.

You will perform electrical testing, EICRs, and remedial upgrades across a patch of social housing properties. A full UK driving licence, 18th Edition, and PAT certification are essential to deliver high-quality service to tenants and clients.

Qualifications

• C&G 18th Edition Certificate is essential.
• Testing & Inspecting Certificate (2391 or 2377) required.
• PAT Certificate required.
• Full UK driving licence with clean record preferred.

Responsabilités

• Inspect & test electrical installations and complete Electrical Certificates or EICRs.
• Carry out EICRs and remedial upgrades including consumer unit changes.
• Advise Supervisor when other trades are needed.
• Work with other operatives to complete projects.
• Complete daily worksheets detailing work and materials used.
• Provide excellent customer service to tenants and clients.

Fortem Solutions are currently recruiting for an Electrician to join us on our social housing maintenance team on the Stonewater Housing contractThis will be covering a patch of social housing properties across Yeovil, Taunton, Bridgwater and surrounding areas.

The Client

Stonewater Housing is one of our long-term Social Housing contracts. We look after over 7,500 properties in 4 different areas of the South-West, from Taunton and Yeovil, over to Bristol and Swindon and down to Salisbury and Bournemouth.We currently deliver Repairs & Maintenance, Voids, Capital Works and an Electrical Service program.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Electrician's duties and responsibilities will include the following:

• Inspect & test electrical installations and have the ability to fill in correctly, the appropriate Electrical Certificate or Electrical Condition Report
• Carry out EICRs and remedial upgrades to properties and consumer unit changes
• Advising Supervisor in a timely manner when other trades are required.
• Working in partnership with other operatives to complete projects.
• Completing daily work sheets detailing work undertaken and materials used after each job undertaken.
• Working in a timely and productive manner to complete projects.
• Provide excellent customer service to both tenants and clients.

What You Will Need

Essential criteria:

• C&G 18th Edition Certificate
• Testing & Inspecting Certificate 2391 or C&G 2377
• PAT Certificate
• Full UK driving license with less than 6 points and no recent driving bans

Desirable criteria:

• Previous experience working within a social housing environment
