Job summary

VGC is seeking an experienced Electrician to join a busy maintenance team covering Yeovil and surrounding areas. You will perform electrical testing, inspections, repairs and installations across residential properties, ensuring safety, compliance and high standards.

Work includes planned improvements, communal lighting projects and documentation, while delivering excellent customer service in residents' homes. UK driving licence required; 18th Edition qualification preferred.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
• Experience as a qualified Electrician with testing, inspection, maintenance and installation.
• Knowledge of NICEIC certification software or similar systems.
• Full UK driving licence and customer-focused approach.
• Experience within social housing or property maintenance is advantageous.

Yeovil Up to £42,921.30 per annum + Company Van Permanent | Full Time | 40 Hours per Week

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Electrician to join a busy maintenance team covering Yeovil and surrounding areas. You'll carry out a mixture of electrical testing, inspections, repairs, installations and planned improvement works across residential properties, helping to ensure homes remain safe, compliant and maintained to a high standard. This is a varied role where no two days are the same, offering the opportunity to work on both occupied and empty properties while delivering excellent customer service.

Requirements
