Job summary

Niyaa People is recruiting an Electrician for a large contractor based near Woking. You will perform responsive maintenance and repairs in domestic properties, including rewiring and kitchen/bathroom installations, with a company van and fuel card provided from day one.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years’ social housing experience, City & Guilds 18th Edition, 2391 or equivalent, NVQ3 in Electrical Installation and a valid UK driving licence. DBS check may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in social housing or building maintenance.
• City & Guilds 18th Edition required.
• 2391 Testing & Inspection qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Electrical test and inspection.
• Reactive repairs and fault finding.
• Domestic rewiring and installations in kitchens/bathrooms.
• Installations for domestic heating systems.

Education

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation

City & Guilds 18th Edition Electrical Regulations

City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection

Join a large contractor based in Woking and receive a company van, fuel card, and all essential tools from day one. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out responsive maintenance and repair work within domestic properties.

As an Electrician, you will be:

• Electrical test and inspection
• Reactive repairs and fault finding
• Full domestic electrical rewiring
• Electrical installation to kitchens and bathrooms
• Electrical installation of domestic heating system

I’d love to speak to Electrician who has:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience within social housing or a building maintenance environment
• City & Guilds 18th Edition Electrical Regulations
• City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection (or equivalent)
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• A full, valid UK driving licence
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check prior to starting
