Job summary

Ipsum Utilities Limited is hiring an Electrician in Wrexham to work on SPEN - Manweb projects, installing equipment from LV to 132kV and wiring LV boards, power and lighting. You will also install protection panels and multi-core cabling, with containment for electrical systems.

The role requires an qualified Electrician with 18th Edition BS 7671, a valid JIB Card, and full UK driving licence; previous DNO/ HV network exposure is a plus with training provided.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition BS 7671 Wiring Regulations knowledge.
• Good understanding of Electrical Power Systems.
• Must hold a current JIBCard and be time served.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installation of electrical equipment from LV to 132kV.
• Install LV boards, power and lighting.
• Work on SPEN substations and protection panels.

We have a fantastic opportunity to join Team Ipsum as anElectrician in Wrexham.You will be responsible forworking on projects for SPEN -Manweb projects. Carrying out installation of electrical equipment from LV to 132kV and carry out installation of LV boards,powerand lighting.

As an Electrician you will…

About you...

• Qualified Electrician – 18th Edition BS 7671 Wiring Regulations with a good understanding of Electrical Power Systems
• 2391 Inspection and Testing / Mustbe time served and hold a current JIBCard
• Previousexperience working on a DNO Network/ HV Private Networks preferred but not essential (Training provided).
• You will need a Full UK Driving Licence for this position
