Job summary

Invictus Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join a large site in Wishaw ML2. You will carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across building services in a modern commercial environment, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

You’ll perform fault finding, PPMs, and repairs with a focus on safety and documentation, with opportunities for career progression within a compliant, well-supported operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial building maintenance environment.
• Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installations/Engineering.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
• Strong fault-finding skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and building services equipment.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Fault-finding and remedial repairs on lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, and control systems.
• Work alongside mechanical and building services teams as part of a multi-skilled maintenance operation.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and site documentation.

Maintenance Electrician – Wishaw ML2 – £43,441

Location: Wishaw ML2

Salary: £41,608-£43,441 per annum (dpe)

Shifts: Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30

About the Role

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Electrician or Maintenance Engineer to join a leading building maintenance provider at a large site in Wishaw ML2.

You’ll be part of a skilled engineering team, delivering planned and reactive maintenance across electrical systems within a modern commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Electrician

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and building services equipment.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime.

Requirements of the Maintenance Electrician

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
• Proven experience in a commercial building maintenance environment.
• Excellent fault-finding skills and the ability to work independently.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
